Green change in demand as Alberi Park passes $15 million in sales
12 May 2008
The growing popularity of residential communities with a focus on the natural environment has been further reinforced with Devine Communities' Alberi Park Estate at Holmview recently soaring past $15 million in sales since it was acquired in September last year.
Alberi Park Estate has been developed with a particular focus on the preservation of green, open spaces and natural settings that have become signature features of the estate. These essential "green spaces" are only part of almost seven hectares that have been set aside for the enjoyment of residents and the protection of the ecology.
Devine acquired the 25 hectare estate at Holmview near Beenleigh, south of Brisbane, for $20 million in September 2007 and has continued the success which began under previous owner No Limit Group.
Devine plans to build its new prestige range of family homes on approximately 50 per cent of the lots at Alberi Park Estate, with the balance to be marketed as land.
Since acquiring the site Devine has sold 60 homesites and 26 home and land packages for a total of $17.5 million. Land prices range from $189,000 to $219,000, with home and land packages from $379,000 to $449,000.
Devine Communities Queensland General Manager Paul Nash said Alberi Park Estate’s focus on the natural environment coupled with large homesites and quality homes made it ideal for the family market.
"Alberi Park has been sensitively designed to preserve and enhance the natural environment of the area and has been purposefully created as an ideal place for people to live and families to grow," he said.
Each home site has been fully integrated into a harmoniously balanced community that is linked to the sensitively designed parks and natural settings that you and your family can enjoy.
The estate is located on the corner of Teys and Tallangara Roads at Holmview, three kilometres west of the Beenleigh Town Centre and 31 kilometres south-east of Brisbane and on completion in approximately three years will be home to about 300 families.
Mr Nash said the estate was well positioned in terms of population growth and existing infrastructure.
"Beenleigh and its adjoining suburbs are well serviced by road and rail infrastructure, including the Holmview Railway Station which provides frequent services to the Brisbane CBD and the Gold Coast," he said.
